KINGS CLASSIC AT LABCITY

WELCOME TO THE KINGS CLASSIC TOURNAMENT.  HOSTED AT LABCITY SPORTS TRAINING AND EVENT CENTER. LOCATED IN CHARLOTTE.  GREAT FACILITY. TOURNAMENT/EVENT PARKING $5.  GREAT ENVIRONMENT. QUALITY REFS. LARGE SNACK BAR & DRINKS. 1ST PLACE TOURNAMENT AWARDS. GAME MVP AWARDS.  TOURNAMENT PLAY IS SATURDAY WITH BRACKET PLAY ONSUNDAY.  BOYS DIVISIONS 4TH-8TH GRADE.

TOURNAMENT ADMISSION: $10 DAY PASS (KIDS AGE 8 AND UNDER FREE)  / $15 WEEKEND PASS / $5 PER DAY TOURNAMENT PARKING

COACHES GET 2 COACHES BANDS AT CHECK IN (NO EXCEPTIONS)

Tournament Rules:

  • IF LATE TO THE GAME, THE GAME WILL BE PLAYED BUT IT WILL BE RECORDED AS A FORFEIT. IT WILL BE RUNNING CLOCK UNTIL GAME IS CAUGHT UP. (UNLESS OVERRULED BY TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR)
  • HOME TEAM PROVIDES SCORE SHEET KEEPER.
  • 5 MIN. WARMUP, 3 MIN. HALFTIME BREAK
  • 16 MIN. HALVES RUNNING CLOCK.  CLOCK STOPS LAST 2 MINUTES OF EACH HALF
  • 1ST OT = 1 MIN. (EACH TEAM ALLOWED 1 TIMEOUT)
  • 2ND OT = SUDDEN DEATH.  FIRST POINT WINS (CAN BE A FREE THROW)
  • ANY TIME LEADS IS ABOVE 20 POINTS CLOCK RUNS.
  • (3) THIRTY SECOND TIME OUTS ALLOWED FOR THE GAME
  • BONUS AFTER 7 FOULS,  DOUBLE BONUS AFTER 10 FOULS
  • 5 PERSONAL FOULS PER PLAYER ALLOWED
Mask policy within the facility
    - Coaches will be REQUIRED to wear a mask at all times while in the facility and while coaching in the game.

    - Players will be REQUIRED to wear a mask unless they are on the floor playing in the game. Players must have mask on while on the bench not participating in the game.

    - Game officials will be REQUIRED to wear a mask unless they are officiating a game.


SPECTATOR & FACILITY PROTOCOL

    
Mask policy within the facility
 Spectators will be REQUIRED to wear a mask and must bring their own mask. If they do not bring their own mask, spectators can purchase a mask upon check-in.
 
Occupancy
 Limited number of spectators during each game session. 
 Teams and spectators will be required to leave the gym following their game.
 
Social Distancing
    Ensure minimum of six feet between spectators when entering and when inside the facility, unless they are family members. 
    Team benches and spectator seating will be adjusted to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
    Signage will be posted throughout the facility to ensure proper social distancing.
    Entrances and exits will be clearly marked. Everyone will enter the facility through one door and exit through another door.
